Back to back fires for Company 33
On March 5th, #Engine 331, #RescueEngine33 and #Chief 33 were alerted to the reported house fire on Peacock Dr in Company 2’s area. Units arrived on scene with smoke showing from a 2-story townhouse. Chief 33 took command. RE33 completed searches throughout, with all findings negative. E331 stood by side Alpha as RIT. Company 33 remained on scene for approximately 33 minutes before returning to service. Not long after the men of company 33 returned to quarters, RE33 was dispatched to the 4700 blk of Baltimore Ave as the 4th due engine. Chief 33 on the call established command. The WFD was sounded for a basement fire, adding E331. RE33 secured water supply and established RIT side alpha. E331 stretched the 400’ and a rack off their own hydrant to stand-by side Charlie. Company 33 remained on scene of Baltimore Ave for 25 minutes before returning to service.
