The initial box alarm was transmitted for the 800 block of Saint Michael’s at 1606 hours in company 46’s first due. Tower Ladder 33 was the second due truck company (responsible for the rear of the building). Companies arrived with fire showing and quickly requested a “Task Force Alarm”, bringing two additional engine companies and one additional rescue company. Fire extended into the attic space and the exposures before being brought under control. Tower 33 operated of approximately 1 hour before returning to service.
