Last night, the men of Landover Rd. were conducting late-night cigar lounge drills when #Truck 33 was alerted to a high-rise box in Company 7’s first due for a reported fire on the 5th floor with multiple calls. Co.1 arrived on scene with nothing evident and began investigating. Truck 33 positioned in the adjoining parking lot on the Bravo side of the structure. The fire was subsequently located and began showing from the basement. Truck 33 was deployed to the floor above the fire to complete primary searches before moving to the fire floor to conduct searches. The Driver/OVM removed a casement window prior to initiating ventilation. Truck 33 remained on scene to complete coordinated ventilation before returning to service.
