This morning at 0306 hours, #EngineCompany33 and #RescueEngine33 were dispatched to the area of the 11000 block of Kettering Terrace for a report of a vacant house on fire in Co. 46’s area. With additional addresses pouring in, Engine Co 46 went on scene in the unit block of Herrington Drive with fire showing from the roof of a 2-story split level house. Engine Co 33 stretched the 250’ “stinger line” to the 2nd floor, extinguishing all fire there and in the attic. The Rescue Engine secured Engine Co 33’s water supply then established RIT on Side A. Crews operated for just over an hour prior to going in service.
