Last Friday Engine 331, our 2008 Seagrave, was brought to M&M for an extensive overhaul. The motor, transmission and pump will all be replaced along with new paint and graphics.

Also at M&M is the new-to-us 2016 Pierce ladder truck, formerly Truck 715 from Burtonsville, that has been undergoing minor repairs. Once these repairs are made tool mounting will take place and new graphics will be added. Truck 33 should go into service within 2 months.

This next piece is difficult to talk about, but the Rescue Engine has been having some weight issues, keeping it out of service for the last few months. We have put it on a lean diesel diet and have been dumping Ozempic in each time we fuel up. Hopefully the Rescue Engine will be back in service doing its normal laps around the Landover area highways in no time.
