KENTLAND REMEMBERS LADDERMAN SLUTMAN ON HIS 50TH BIRTHDAY

This weekend over 40 Kentland members gathered to celebrate what would have been Christopher Slutman’s 50th birthday. Past Tower Ladder Captain Slutman, laid down his life for his country, serving as a United States Marine while deployed to Afghanistan in 2019.

As Slutman is remembered for his fireground competence, leadership skills and always doing the right thing. The members spent the day training on a variety of scenarios and hosted a leadership course in the evening.
