TRADITION- KENTLAND’S ANNUAL OLD SCHOOL NIGHT
Every fall the Officers and Members of the KVFD hold Old School Night to honor those members who came before us and made Kentland what it is today. Kentland is a place with a rich history and we take traditions, such as Old School Night, very seriously. This year over 40 members attended and we were even able to bring the Jet, our recently retired 1989 Seagrave, back to its original home on Landover Road.

The night always ends with cigars and the old members swapping stories while the next generation listens in. Traditions like this are how we ensure lessons learned are not lost and help the younger firemen understand why Kentland continues to fight fire the old fashioned way.
