While the pork chops were in the oven the bells sounded for a caller reporting the roof was on fire in the 600 block of Stillwater Place on Box 46-01. #Engine332 responded as the 3rd due engine and #Truck33 as the search company. Engine Company 46 arrived on the scene of a 2-story middle of the row townhouse with fire showing from the roof. The crew from Engine 332 advanced their 400’ line to the Charlie side and worked the exposures. Truck 33 performed searches of the structure which proved negative, then opened up for interior crews. Company 33 operated for approximately 45 mins before returning to Kentland, where crews found the pork chops did not make it.
