COMPANY 33 RUNS AUTO SHOP FIRE

Just before noon on Monday, #Engine33 and #Truck33 were dispatched to the 2300 block of 51st Place in Company 9’s area for a building fire. Due to the number of calls received, Battalion 884 started the Working Fire Dispatch while en route. Engine Co. 38 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a one-story auto body shop. Engine 33 and Truck 33 arrived simultaneously as the second due engine and first due truck. The engine crew stretched a line to back up Engine Co. 38, while the truck crew conducted primary searches. The Company operated for approximately one hour before returning to Landover Road.
