Yesterday afternoon on the first fire of the year in the county, #Truck33 was dispatched on Box 06-02 for the report of fire in the attached garage. Due to the county being on reduced alarm assignments because of the snow storm, the initial was 2&2. First arriving units had a 2-story, SFD with smoke from the garage. Fire was located in the garage, filling out the box assignment and WFD. TK33 laddered the building, opened up, and completed searches. #Engine332 was alerted to respond on the WFD and was the third engine to arrive on scene. E332 was assigned RIT and ran 250’ 1.5” to side Alpha, completed the 360, and forced multiple doors in the rear. The fire involved debris in the garage and was quickly extinguished. Units returned to service shortly after.
