Just after noon yesterday, #RescueEngine33 was dispatched to a Street Alarm (2 Engines, 1 Truck, 1 Special Service) in the 7600 block of Locris Drive. This address is in the 2518 box area, where Co. 33 is listed as 18th due. This unusually long response was due to companies operating on multiple other incidents countywide.
Engine Co. 23 arrived first with nothing evident, but once they opened the front door found smoke throughout the home and filled the box (2 more engines & 1 more truck), followed by a Working Fire dispatch (1 additional Engine & Truck).
A kitchen fire was quickly extinguished and the Rescue Engine crew completed searches, before heading back to Landover.
